6028 Double ½ Rack Combo

Nebula Fitness Equipment

This is a free weight Double ½ Rack with 6x8 Dead lift platform & Bench.

· Frame construction is 3x3 7 gage 3x2, 2x4, 2x2 11 gage steel tubing all Mig welded and ground smooth.

· Rack with 48”, fits standard Olympic Power bars.

· All open-end tubes are steel capped, welded, and ground smooth.

· Half rack consists of (4) vertical uprights.

· Center plate tree uprights consist of a 2x3 11-gage frame for plate storage. (5) Plate horns per side.

· Bumper plate rack is at the bottom of each tree. Has (6) 4” slots for plates to fit in like a bike tire.

· Chrome Bar storage is bolted on to the inside of the top of the plate tree.

· Four uprights, (4) are designated for the squat and benching area. They are built from 3x3 7 gage tubing approx. 8’ tall.

· Front to back and side-to-side uprights are connected at top by bolt in 2x3 tubes; front spreaders come with (2) cambered chin bar attached.

· Attached to the upright is the L-slot hooking system. This consists of a 1/4” x 3 1/2” Laser cut channel, chromed steel adjustment plate bolted to 3x3 with 3.5”x 3/8”grade 8 cap bolts. The plate has an L-shaped slot Laser cut 1 1/16” wide, and slots are 2” in depth from the horizontal inward slot. All slot bottoms are at 4” on center. The chrome channel protects the painted upright from contact with the hooks & safety catches

· Ό” ABS plastic screwed on inside of hook for upright paint protection.

· Drilled at the bottom to accept a 3x2 spreader to enable the use of the lock in Phase Bench.

· All uprights are braced and secured to each other to form a complete stable self-supporting racking system.

· Bar Catch (or hooks) (2pr) are self-locking on to the L-slot plates.

· Hooks are removed by lifting up 2” and then pulled out in a horizontal motion to release from the L-slot plate and from around the upright

· The Hook is made from a 3/8” formed laser cut box. L-Slot system catches then use a (2) 1” steel pin Pulse welded (a high penetration Mig welding system 80,000 P.S.I. per pass) to back plate; pins protrude 3/8” to the inside to seat in the L-slot. The bar catch devise is a 2x1bar pulse welded to between two Ό plate laser cut side plates. Then a 5/8” diameter hole is drilled and taped into the 1x2. On the end id mounted a 3000 LB 1 7/8” cam follower. This acts as the catch for the Olympic power bar. The 2x1 and the 4” tall crash plate are covered in Ό” ABS plastic strips that are screwed on to them. This cam follower enables the bar to be centered on the rack with a twist and pull of the user's wrist even when bar is loaded heavy.

· Safety catches (crash bar) (2pr) are self-locking on to the L-slot plates by way describe above the same as the Bar catch. A 3” x 2” x 30” tube is welded on the same formed laser box as the hook & then covered in ABS plastic.

· Ό” ABS plastic screwed on inside of catch for upright paint protection.

· Storage pins are 11” for 45’s, 6” for 25, 10, 5, and 4” for 2.5

· New lower bumper Storage consists of a horizontal (4) slot rack

· Racks have (2) sockets for Olympic bars to be stored in a vertical position under weight trees of the rack.

· All hooks, safety rails and plate storage pins are all covered in black ABS plastic.

· Rack is powder coated to customer’s color specs.

Platform:

· This is a free weight floor protector deck.

· Center wood is 8’ x 42” with 24”x 6’ Ύ” rubber impact area.

· Half Rack feet 2x3 tubes are bolted into the sub frame of the steel insert, and insert is bolted to the platform. Then the wood and the rubber fit on to the sub frame for a clean finished look.

· This platform has a 2x2 & 4x2 tubing under frame, which are built in (3) sections.

· Center frame is 96”x42” which bolts up into the rack feet.

· (2) out side wing are 72”x21” halves bolted together to the center section. Impact areas are double steel reinforced to support wood base from impact blowout.

· The parameter is made of 11gage laser cut sheet metal. It is then bent to an L shaped, mitered corner, to serve as a retainer for the wood and rubber.

· The (8) retainer sidepieces are held on each side by (2) 3/8” bolts, which in turn hold the wood and rubber in.

· Then (3) inter locking plywood sections 1.5” thick. (Glued & Screwed) with center section covered in Ύ” Red Oak plywood (inlayed oak floor available) 42” and covered in (3) coats of ploy urethane.

· The outer sections covered by Ύ” rubber matting 2’x 6’.

· Painted custom logos available

· Dimensions are W94” x L14’ x H96” Weight 1250 lb.
