BAPS Biomechanical Ankle Platform System

Total Gym

BAPS safely mimics multi-joint, multi-plane function. It is scientifically designed to allow movement only within an anatomically proportionate ROM. Attached to Total Gym via the Closed Chain Platform, BAPS provides partial weight bearing for early closed-chain protocols. - The lightweight, durable, biomechanically designed platform assures anatomically accurate range of motion. - Five proportionately calibrated hemispherical attachments assure precise control for ROM stress. - Weight rods may be strategically placed in one or more of the five sockets for passive ROM assistance or for strengthening specific muscle groups. - Platform is reversible to accommodate right or left and includes permanent indices for proper foot placement.
Application
Patients of all ages and activity levels can benefit from the enhanced ROM, strength and proprioception available through a BAPS rehabilitation program.
